This will remove the limit on cloaking time in Legacy. That lets you simulate the differences between the old Type VIII phasers on an Excelsior and the newer Type X phasers on the Akira without having to start from scratch, and point each ship to different ODFs. Not only that, but almost every ship has their own separate weapons too! For instance, the Excelsior's phasers are a different ODF than the Akira's phasers. However, in Legacy, almost every ship already has it's own physics file, so the hard work is done for you. In Armada II, if you wanted say, your Akira class cruiser to handle differently than any other race's equivalent cruiser, you had to make up your own ODF file, and point the Akira to it, because all cruiser originally pointed to the same physics file. And this is where Legacy really impresses me. The ODF file system alone provides for all manner of re-balancing mods, tweaking everything from the thickness of the phaser beams to the physics of any one particular ship. You better believe it! The modding potential for Legacy is huge.
